You’ve just wrapped up your tour at Zion Springs and may be wondering, “What happens next?” or “How does this process work?”
Rest assured, you're not alone. Many couples feel the same way after a venue tour, and we're here to guide you through what comes next. In this article, we’ll explain the post-tour phase, outlining what to expect and how to make the most of it. Our goal is to make your wedding day planning as smooth as possible, and we're excited to help you every step of the way.
What’s the Next Step After the Tour?
We’ll cover two outcomes: one for couples who haven’t signed a reservation agreement and need more time to discuss financials or explore other venues, and the other for couples who are ready to move forward with Zion Springs.
If No Reservation Agreement is Signed
You have a 72-hour window to sign a reservation agreement and pay your deposit with the option of a full refund during that time. This ensures your wedding date is secured.
You’ll receive an email with a link to the budget estimate reviewed during your tour. This tool allows you to adjust guest counts and customize options, helping you explore different budget levels.
We’ll send a follow-up email to ensure you’ve received the link and address any questions. If you choose to move forward, you’ll receive the wedding agreement, your wedding date, and deposit instructions.
Once you pay the deposit, complete the online agreement, and approve the budget estimate, our event director will reach out to start planning your special day.
If the Reservation Agreement is Signed
If you're confident Zion Springs is the ideal venue for your wedding, signing the reservation agreement marks the beginning of an exciting journey to your big day.
- After the tour, secure your wedding date by paying the security deposit via ACH and completing the wedding agreement.
- You'll receive an email with a link to your budget estimate, where you can adjust guest numbers and options until you're comfortable with the budget.
- We’ll send a follow-up email to schedule your kick-off call with our event director, who will guide you through each step of the planning process.
Step 2 After Your Tour with Zion Springs Wedding Venue – Wedding Planning
Things will start moving quickly, but rest assured, we handle everything. We’ll manage the planning and only reach out when approvals or decisions are needed, so you can relax.

Kick-off Call and Smartsheet Access
During your kick-off call, our event director will provide you with a link to your personalized Smartsheet. This tool will serve as your central hub for all wedding details—a checklist, journal, and guide. You’ll be able to enter important information, like guest names, RSVP statuses, menu choices, and invitation designs, ensuring everything is organized and easily accessible as you move forward. -
Best Day Ever Map
One of the first major tasks is creating your “Best Day Ever” map, which will serve as the blueprint for your entire wedding. It focuses on two key questions: “What do you want to remember about your wedding?” and “What’s most important to you?” Our event director will work closely with you to ensure your vision is brought to life, allowing you to hand over the stressful elements with confidence. -
Scheduled Meetings with Department Directors
You’ll receive calendar invites for follow-up meetings with our department directors, all designed to ensure each aspect of your wedding is carefully planned and executed. Most of these meetings can be virtual, except for florals and decoration.- Catering and Beverages: Finalize your reception menu and any other treats for your guests, such as cocktail hour appetizers or late-night snacks.
- Entertainment: Select your ceremony music, reception playlist, and background music for key moments.
- Photography and Videography: Choose scenic backdrops and decide on moments you want highlighted during your celebration.
- Florals and Decoration: This meeting is in person, where you’ll select flowers and décor based on your theme.

Collaboration with In-House Directors
Our department directors work exclusively in-house and are dedicated to ensuring every detail aligns with your vision. Thanks to their teamwork and streamlined communication, everything runs seamlessly behind the scenes so you can focus on enjoying your big day.
