Alexa and Andrew's love story began amidst the hectic pace of Inova Fairfax Hospital's Neuroscience Intensive Care Unit. Their initial encounters, filled with admiration and nervous anticipation, soon blossomed into a deep connection. A nudge from colleagues led to their first date, which was marked by heartfelt conversations and a playful, memorable first kiss at the Jefferson Memorial.
Their relationship was woven from countless cherished moments: shared cups of coffee, laughter-filled dance parties, and overcoming life's hurdles together. A pivotal chapter unfolded at Connecticut's Harkness State Park, where Andrew proposal. This special moment was the start of a journey of love, laughter, and shared adventures.

"We enjoyed the variety of blooming flowers and gardens, vast green trees, and the rolling hills we sat up on to take in the views. The large lawn was a perfect spot to relax and play yard games while catching up. We also loved the multiple fire pits where people could sit after a night of celebration. Our Friday night welcome gathering was a hit with the outdoor bar and grill."

"We liked the fact we would be able to have our close family and friends stay onsite and enjoy more time together from Friday afternoon through Sunday morning. Between catching up in conversation, playing corn hole or tossing the football around, and just kicking our feet up to take in the beautiful spring greenery and blossoms we felt like it was the perfect way to celebrate this moment."
What advice would you give to other wedding couples?
"We highly recommend stopping in and checking out the venue. We happened to tour the venue while a couple was preparing for their wedding. Speaking to the bride and groom really persuaded us as they seemed to be relaxed and enjoying theirselves along with their present company. They spoke to how Zion Spring's wedding planning was smooth process, especially since it's a one-stop-shop for all the needs of a wedding being an all-inclusive."
